There are more than 60 itineraries that you can take, with technical features suitable for everyone, from the classic trips of Col Serena and Flassin to the most challenging and spectacular, such as Leisache or the canals of the Corléans ridge

SUMMER
During summer, Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses guarantees its guests a diverse range of touristic activities, satisfying the interests of those seeking a dynamic holiday or those preferring a relaxing stay, from outdoor sports, incredible hikes, endless discoveries of great natural beauty, to cozy and charming interiors, and relaxing with an incredible outlook.
Many traces from the past remain in this village, clearly visible in the architecture of the houses and other buildings scattered among the sunniest slopes of the mountain, appealing to any lover of rural tourism. Equally impressive is the visit to the village of Saint-Rhémy, located along the road that leads to the Colle del Gran San Bernardo.
The pass can also be reached by walking along the ancient Roman road, where the final section is almost intact and is now part of a popular hiking circuit, the "Tour du Grand Combin".
For those who prefer more demanding hikes, far from the busy areas, the territory of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses offers some interesting routes that explore beautiful and secluded side valleys.
Crévacol
On the territory of Saint-Rhémy rises the ski area of Crévacol
The favorable location of this resort, totally south facing and therefore very sunny, making it the ideal place not only for ski lovers but also for those who prefer to relax and sunbathe on the panoramic terraces of the restaurants at 2000 meters above sea level. Crévacol is able to meet all needs of skiers, from beginners to the most experienced, who can have fun away from the big crowds. It also offers ample space for snowboarders and has a technical track reserved for ski clubs for training.
Historical carnival in Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses
The Carnival of Saint Rhemy en Bosses is a recurrence still very much alive in the village. With ancient origins, this historic carnival was traditionally celebrated to exorcise evil spirits, removed by the use of the typical costumes embellished with mirrors that give light and fight darkness. The Carnival of Saint Rhemy en Bosses is a historical re-enactment to remember the passage of Napoleon Bonaparte and his army through the Colle del Gran San Bernardo, along the Via Francigena.
The cultural route of the Via Francigena
It is the first village in the Gran San Bernardo Valley in Italy, located at the foot of the homonymous Hill. It is located on the official route of the Via Francigena. Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses is one of the most important villages in the Gran San Bernardo Valley, a crucial transit point along the Via Francigena, surrounded by green wooded slopes, 1518 metres above sea level.
The Via Alpina enters Italy through the hill of the Gran San Bernardo and winds through wide pastures, large wooded areas and several mountain pastures until you reach the col Citrin on the opposite side of the valley of the Gran San Bernardo
Alta Via n.1 starting from Gressoney-Saint-Jean and arriving in Courmayeur offers superb examples of natural architecture of the Alps, unforgettable views and discoveries.
TOUR DES COMBINS
Open from July to September, Tour des Combins is a challenging trek, recommended for trained hikers. It offers an unforgettable experience, from Italy to Switzerland, from refuge to refuge, through alpine valleys with magnificent views of the surrounding high peaks.
The route enters the Aosta Valley from the hill of the Gran San Bernardo (2,450 m), a welcoming stopping point built in 1050 and managed by the canons of San Bernardo, famous for its dogs and for the hospice. It then goes down to the village of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, along the famous Via Francigena.
DEMONSTRATIONS
The second Sunday of July JAMBON DAY: a whole day dedicated to the "king of raw meats". The "Jambon de Bosses" is a raw ham seasoned on site, its unique salting process important to achieve its particular flavor.
On August 13, the village of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses will be the destination of an unforgettable journey into the world of flavours, in which the red colour of the products is the common thread.
The Vallée d'Aoste Jambon de Bosses D.O.P. (one of the four D.O.P. from the Valle d'Aosta) is a well-known and compact ham, dark red in colour and aromatic flavour, always produced with the same unmistakable technique, recovered in strict observance of tradition.
